Strategic Leadership Programme

Aimed at Chief Executives and Senior Managers, the Strategic Leadership Programme focuses on providing you with an understanding of the important concepts of leadership and strategy, but more importantly, also provides you with the skills to implement what you learn.

The 6-day intensive residential programme blends team-based learning with focused, one-on-one executive coaching. As a result, you're able to hone your own innate leadership abilities and potentially deliver a vastly more effective style of leadership.

As a senior manager your ability to get along with and motivate others may no longer be sufficient: you must also provide your organization with strategic leadership to positively influence organisational culture. Undertaking the Strategic Leadership Programme will assist your evolution from manager to strategic thinker, and will provide you with new insights and opportunities - both for you personally, and your organisation.

Millbrook campus
Sydney Venue: We are currently considering alternative venues that align with the Institute's values, high standards and excellent service.

Applications are invited from directors, and senior executives at levels 1 & 2 (viz. Chief Executives and General managers), who are at least 35 years of age. Executives at levels 3 & 4, and those below 35 years of age are encouraged to apply for the Institute’s Leadership Programme for High Potentials.

Participants should choose a flight that arrives at Queenstown Airport no later than 12:30 on the first day of the programme (Sunday), and will arrive back at Queenstown Airport by 15:45 on the last day (Saturday).

Participants are encouraged to stay over on the last Saturday night to relax and reflect after a long week and to enjoy the beautiful local environment. Millbrook provides a special discounted ISL rate to participants.

Participants arriving from overseas should plan to arrive on Saturday (the day before the programme) and depart on Sunday (the day after the programme finishes Sunday).
