WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
Participants describe the outcomes of the experience as creating an empowering vision of self, affirming confidence in their strengths, providing greater self-awareness of blind spots, gaining a better understanding of how to get the most out of others and unlocking barriers to becoming outstanding leaders of highly engaged organisations. The SLP is often used by organisations as an investment in succession planning.
Harvard published research in 2015 that found leaders account for as much as 70% of variance in employee engagement. Comparing top-quartile with bottom-quartile engagement business units, Gallup found that units in the top quartile of engagement had 41% lower absenteeism, 59% lower staff turnover, 17% higher productivity and 21% better financial performance. In short, leadership matters and great leaders deliver results.
